Anastasia discovered yoga through climbing in 2016 and became attracted to the practice right away. She firmly believes that there is no destination in yoga, it is rather a process and a continuous journey to your true self through yoga asanas and pranayama. She was introduced to the Vasa The Studio in 2018 where her practice kept growing. She didn’t hesitate when the opportunity of completing a 200 hour teacher training with Chelsea and Lisa came along. The journey was just about to begin!
She realized that connecting body movement with the breath can help release daily stresses, and as a new teacher she deeply weaves them into her classes. Her teaching designed to give students the techniques to understand their own unique body’s needs, build new connections, and continue to find the center of themselves each time they step on their mats. You will see lots of power and endurance focused moves and fun transitions. Her classes are an invitation to stay lighthearted with the practice and to allow oneself be playful and curious.
