The Essentials
We've got a ton of helpful information here to help you prepare for attending in-studio classes.
Here are some basics to get your started:
Pre-Registration is Required For All Classes
Create an account and register for classes with our Mindbody scheduler to reserve your space in class.
Late Cancellation Fee Policy
Class reservations must be cancelled at least two (2) hours in advance of the class start time to avoid a Late Cancellation Fee.
Important Information
Attending In-Studio Classes
- Due to our currently limited class sizes we are requiring pre-registration for all classes.
- View the most up-to-date schedule on MindBody
- If classes are full we encourage you to get on the waitlist as people's plans inevitably change and we are often able to add people from the waitlist.
- We are live streaming most of our classes for our members to access online. If you are not comfortable being on camera please let your instructor know and they can assist you in finding a space outside of the videoed area.
Studio Etiquette
- Please remove your shoes before entering the studio and store them in a bin with your personal items, not on the studio floor.
- Cell phones are not allowed on your mat, please make sure they are on "silent" not "vibrate" and store them away with your other personal items. If you are "on call" please make sure your phone will not be distracting to other students or the instructor.
- Please do not leave during Savasana, the final rest. If you need to leave early please be out of the studio before Savasana begins. Let the instructor know you need to leave early and they can let you know an ideal time to exit.
- Running late? The office door will remain unlocked for five minutes after the class start time. Please gather your props, place your personal items in a storage bin, and wait in the studio office until the instructor lets you into the studio.
Arriving for CLass
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to check in.
- Doors will open 15 minutes before class start time. Upon arrival and check in, you will receive a bin in which to store your shoes and personal items. This bin will go with you into the studio to be placed on a designated shelf. Cell phones must be silenced and stored in the bin along with your shoes (please don't put shoes or personal items on the floor).
- The office door will remain unlocked for five minutes after the class start time. Please gather your props and wait in the studio office until the instructor lets you into the studio.
- If you are later than five minutes you will not be admitted to class. Late arrivals (5 minutes after the class start time) will be considered a late cancellation and charged the late cancellation fee.
After CLass
- Please exit out the back doors of the studio in the prop area or by the restrooms. Continue to maintain a safe distance from others as you gather your personal items, return your props, and exit.
- We ask that you exit the studio in a timely manner so that we can thoroughly clean between classes.
- Please limit your in-person attendance to one class per day to better allow us to serve as many students as possible. If the class has plenty of space you may attend more than one per day but if there is a waitlist and you are signed up for multiple classes your name may be removed by staff.
Studio Props
- We strongly encourage you to bring your own props.
- Not sure what to bring? A block and blanket are usually a good place to start. You'll figure out your favorites over time! The studio has props available to borrow if you are new to yoga or forget your props.
- If you are attending a Yin or Restorative Class we recommend that you bring at least two blankets. Yoga bolsters are recommended for Restorative if you have one, if you don't have one most pillows or rolled up blankets will work.
Late Cancellation Policy

- If you exceed two late cancels or no-shows per month you will be charged an additional $25 at the end of the month. If you exceed six you will be charged $50 at the end of the month.
- We do waive the late cancels for emergencies and illness. Please send us an email within 48 hours to let us know if you had an extenuating circumstance.
COVID Protocols
- If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 as detailed by the CDC, please do not attend in-person classes at the studio. If you have been in recent contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, please do not attend in-person classes until the end of the recommended self-quarantine period, and/or if you are unable to self-quarantine (for instance, due to your job), please consider not attending in-person classes until advised that it is safe to do so by the relevant authorities.
- If you are awaiting test results for a COVID-19 test please do not attend in-person classes. If you have received positive test results for a COVID-19 test and have reason to believe that you were infected while attending an in-person class please let management know as soon as possible by emailing info@vasaredlands.com
- Face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated students in the studio.
- In the event that a teacher or staff member is experiencing signs or symptoms of illness, classes may be cancelled with little or no notice if a substitute instructor is not available.
- If you exhibit signs or symptoms associated with COVID-19 and/or otherwise fail to comply with our updated studio protocols and procedures for reopening, you will be asked to leave the studio.
- Please understand that by your participation in in-person classes at Vasa the Studio, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with potential exposure to COVID-19, which cannot be completely eliminated even with our increased and compliant sanitization and safety efforts.
Getting Here
Allow Extra Time to Park and Find Us
Our studio can be a little hard to find. We are tucked away inside the shopping center. The easiest way to find us is to park in the back, between Albertson's and Rite Aid and enter through the Mall Entrance doors.
